Paleolithic Diet

The Paleolithic diet is called as caveman diet, Stone Age diet, paleodiet, the preagriculture diet or hunter gatherer diet. This is the diet of wild plants and animals consumed by ancient people. This kind of diet opposes the extensive preparation and processing of foods. These foods if taken without processing can prove to be toxic to the human body.

This diet allows only intake of foods which can be gathered through Paleolithic tools and practices. It recommends foods like meat , fish , fruits , leaves , roots of the plants , mushrooms , nuts , eggs and honey . Even the oils derived from these foods can also be used. But it should be obtained through Paleolithic methods.

It includes food products like sesame oil, sunflower oil etc This diet helps people with gastrointestinal , coeliac disease , dermatitis herpetiformis , Gluten ataxia , multiple sclerosis , Parkinson 's disease , schizophrenia and much more .
