The new diet: The beer diet

Most American men and women have followed some type of diets at some point in their lives. Whether it's shedding a few or many pounds, dieting is nothing new to most of us.

New fad diets are invented every day and some of those are picked up by the media to end up making the inventor if the diet a substantial amount of money.

Many diet inventors would like people to believe that their diet is not just "the diet" to follow and to be certain of successful weight loss in the process, but their diet is also fun to follow.

A new diet in a long line of diets introduced to us is the so-called beer diet. Sounds good to you? Think again. Beer has more calories than bread and helps you put on weight faster than you could order one. The diet is (unfortunately) noit based on drinking beer all the time. The calories would kill you and if they wouldn't, lcohol poisoning would end your diet pretty fast.

Bradley Scott has published a book called "The Beer Drinker's Diet." This diet appears to be a spin-off of the Atkins diet that was popular a few years ago. The author managed to drop a lot of weight without giving up his favorite drink (beer).

Any type of diet that excludes food groups that are not good for you (or that contain too many calories) can possibly work. Depending on the intake of calories every day and the amount of exercise any diet can be successful but not every diet contributes to your health.

After all the best way to lose weight is not to follow a diet but to change your lifestyle and eating habits for good. That way weight loss will come slowly but surely
