The Free Detox Diet

The best detox diets to go on are ones that are not as strict. Diets that suggest drinking only water for a day or suggest eating only one type of fruit are not a healthy option. Although stricter diets will lead to quicker greater weight loss, they are more likely to leave you feeling tired and unwell, as the weight you lose could be quickly put back on again. A detox diet that allows for a greater variety in food is the best option to take.

Detox Diet Plan

The following free detox diet plan will allow for elimination of toxins, without depriving the body of necessary nutrients. The plan is simple to follow. You can eat foods from the allowed foods category and you must avoid foods from the disallowed foods category. The plan should be followed for no longer than seven days. Drink plenty of water while following the diet. See your doctor beforehand if you have any condition that may be adversely affected by the diet and stop if you start feeling unwell.

  • Fish casserole. Add fresh fruit and vegetables to some homemade vegetable stock.

Disadvantages of a Detox Diet

A detox diet does not provide all of the nutrients that our body requires. People who go on detox diets will generally need to limit activities and rest as the detox process is going on. For that reason, it is not suggested as a long-term solution. The longer you go on a detox cleansing diet, the longer your body will be without the nutrients it needs.

Following a Detox Diet Plan

Following a detox diet plan is a good way to rid your body of toxins. It can lead to a greater feeling of well-being and contribute to weight loss. However, it is best to be cautious when following a detox diet plan. See your doctor first if you have any concerns and choose a detox diet plan that allows a greater variety of foods. The free detox diet plan suggested is a good one to try.
